The "2nd International Workshop on Optimal (Re)Insurance" was successfully held by the China Institute for Actuarial Science (CIAS) from July 13 to 14, 2018. The workshop attracted more than 60 experts coming from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA), University of Iowa (USA), University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA), Michigan State University (USA), University of Waterloo (Canada), University of Amsterdam (Netherlands), University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Renmin University, Wuhan University, China Property and Casualty Reinsurance Company, and other universities, research institutes, and insurance companies.
